Epson Printer Setup Guide: EcoTank, WorkForce & Expression Series

📦 1. Unboxing & Power Setup

• Remove Epson printer and all packaging material (tapes, inserts, foam).
• Place it on a flat, ventilated surface near your router or PC.
• Plug in the power cord and press the power button.
• Allow the printer to initialize and follow prompts on the LCD (if available).

🧃 2. Fill Ink or Load Toner

• For EcoTank: Open the tank lids and pour the ink bottles carefully by color.
• Do not squeeze — let gravity do the work. Fill until auto-stop activates.
• For WorkForce (ink cartridge): Insert cartridges into their labeled slots.
• Allow the printer to charge the ink system before proceeding.

🧾 3. Load Paper Correctly

• Use fresh, clean sheets and avoid overfilling the tray.
• Adjust side guides snugly to the paper without bending it.
• For rear feed models, ensure paper is aligned and seated flat.

🌐 4. Connect the Printer (Wi-Fi, USB, Ethernet)

Option 1: Wireless Setup via Control Panel

• Navigate to Wi-Fi Setup → Wi-Fi Setup Wizard on the LCD.
• Select your network and enter your Wi-Fi password.
• Wait for connection confirmation.

Option 2: Epson iPrint App (Mobile)

• Install the Epson iPrint app on iOS or Android.
• Make sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network.
• Add printer → Follow app instructions to complete pairing.

Option 3: USB Connection

• Connect the USB cable only when prompted during driver installation.
• The printer should be recognized automatically and complete installation.

💻 5. Install Drivers & Utilities

• Go to epson.com/Support and enter your printer model.
• Download the recommended driver + Epson Software Installer package.
• Run the installer and choose your connection method.
• Follow all prompts to complete setup and print a test page.

📱 6. Mobile Printing Setup

• Use Epson iPrint to print photos, documents, and web pages from mobile.
• AirPrint (Apple) and Mopria (Android) are supported on most models.
• Some Epson models allow printing directly via email (Email Print setup).

🔧 7. Epson-Specific Troubleshooting

• Printer Not Connecting: Reboot router and retry Wi-Fi wizard.
• Ink Not Recognized: Remove and reseat cartridge or bottle cap properly.
• Lines or Streaks: Run printhead cleaning from control panel or software.
• iPrint App Not Detecting: Ensure both devices are on the same network.
